Arizona

HB 2148 "Human Trafficking; Violation" Expands the crime of sex trafficking to apply to all commercial sex acts or sexually-explicit performances, rather than prostitution.

HB 2151 "Human Trafficking Coordinating Council"
The human trafficking coordinating council is established in the office of the governor. The governor or the governor's designee shall serve as chairperson. The coordinating council consists of the following members including homeland security, faith based organizations, non-profit organizations, and a multitude of others working together to develop recommendations in order to strengthen state and local efforts to prevent human trafficking, protect and assist victims, and prosecute traffickers.

HB 2152 "Human Trafficking; Liability; Victims Services"
HB2152 states that any person who commits a human trafficking offense is civilly liable to the victim for actual damages, compensatory damages or punitive damages.
